• The client wanted to build a medical Point-of-Sale system that comes preloaded with the database of more than 20,000 commonly recommended products from 400 popular suppliers, so the process of getting started is simple: Just receive the products, and the system will manage the inventory, alerts when it’s time to reorder.
• To serve more than 60000 patients with wide variety of products and consistent inventory, the client needs to streamline their inventory management system and customer management process so that doctors can view the sales reports, inventory levels, patients dispensing history, treatment history and more through Mobile device or computer.
• Difficulties with the manual inventory management system had to be sorted which did not allow doctors to track the patients order history and patterns accurately.
• Infrastructure was initially on shared server at a local Datacenter and the single server setup which resulted poor scalability of the application had to be changed.
• Cost and Performance optimization was needed.
• Products & Suppliers data backup along with recovery was the most important concern.
